Who We Are

Deb King has a long history of activism through organizing exhibitions and socially-oriented net work.  A member of the Detroit arts scene, she has been exhibited internationally in various venues and cyber feminist exhibitions. King was publisher and editor of mark(s) journal of the arts and literature (markszine.net) and a founding member of Past Tents Press.  At cultureID, she focuses on development, technology, and expanding awareness of socially relevant arts and poetry.

Marcia G. Yerman is a writer, activist, artist and curator based in New York City. Her writing focuses on women’s issues, human rights, the arts and culture. She has been an exhibiting artist for over twenty years. Yerman is active in the new media space, recognizing it as a force for building relationships to bring awareness to social justice issues.  At cultureID, she focuses on outreach, documentary film, art, and liaison to not-for-profit organizations.
